ALL Ages and Skill Levels

Location: Chester Holiday Bowl on located on Jeff Davis Hwy.
When: Every other Friday with the exception of Thansgiving and Christmas week.
Time: 1-3 p.m.
Cost: $4.50 per person. This includes 3 games and shoes.

Roller Hockey
 

There will be two groups:

11:30 ­ 12:30 for group A: less experienced - this is a group of any age child that can not skate well and falls down easily. Instruction is provided with game time the last 15 minutes.

12:30 - 1:30 for group B: more experienced - this is a group for experienced skaters. There is no instruction. It is just fast-paced play for 1 hour. These players do get knocked around A LITTLE, so you must be okay with that.

$30 for 6 week session due the first day of hockey. It is $30 whether your child plays once, twice or more. The bookkeeping would be too difficult to charge by session.

Need hockey stick, pads, helmet, preferably hockey with face guard, but bike will do. NO child can play without a helmet.

I will have registration forms the first day.

Skating

Chester Skateland:
During regular school year (Sept. through May): 12:30 - 2:30 pm on the last Wednesday of each month.

Open to all ages. $3 includes skate rental and a mini-drink. We skate to contemporary Christian music (we made several combination CD's of kids' praise music, adult praise music, gospel, and contemporary Christian). Skating rink is on Southland Drive - behind Burger King on Route 10, just off the I-95 exit at Chester.

Soccer

Registration at TCHE meeting Aug. 20, 2007, ONLY.
Members first registration, if there is space others will be able to play.
Location: Colonial Heights soccer fields by library Thursday afternoons 2:30-3:30, Sept. 13-Oct. 25
Registration fee: $10
Shirt if needed approx. $10 or less

Softball

Sign-ups in February and 1st week of March.
Boys and Girls (ages as of April 30th).
Location: Mathis Park (River rd. Hopewell).
Times as follow: Mar. Apr & May Wed & Friday 12:30 -2:30 practice.
Games are usually played at 1:00 or 1:30 depending if it is a home or an away game. T-Ball ages 5-6, Coach pitch ages 7-9, JV ages 10-12 *13 can play JV or Varsity, Varsity ages 13-18.
Fees: Due date deadline, MARCH 1 final date I will receive registrations.
TCHE Members $8.00 per player,Non-members $10.00 Shirts (required) $8.00, Hats(optional) $9.00

You will need to provide a SOFTBALL GLOVE for each child playing.
We plan 6-8 games a year. The season ends at the end of May.

Some games are played at Iron Bridge and Rockwood Parks. All parents must be available to help as needed. Children are not allowed to be dropped off. Go to the forms section to download the registration form.

Tae Kwon-Do is a fabulous family activity. Imagine standing side by side with your child and receiving a black belt. What confidence will your child receive when you must ask him/her to show you that certain move that you can’t remember from class! There is something for everyone.
